COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale is a classic US pale ale. Australian, English and German malts balance the huge citrus/pine hop aroma and flavour strongly influenced by generous use of US Centennial and New Zealand Motueka and Pacifica hops. A brilliant light-golden colour, Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale has a full-bodied finish and complex character. This is well balanced with biscuity/toffee flavours from selected caramalts.

Bottle. Pours golden with disappearing white head. Aroma is a lil bland. Taste isn't much better slight citrus backing and quite spritzy. Average beer at best

Amber with thin but dense off white head. Fruity, hoppy, (peachy?) aroma. Citrus and peppery hit at the start, a bit of caramel, not overly bitter but a good finish.

Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows grapefruit, soft peach and passion fruit alongwith very faint clean malt. Some fruit hops as flavours too, along with some honey. Carbonation could be a bit higher. Pretty easy-drinking stuff.

Bottle pours hazy orange amber with big tight off white head. Aromas of caramel, pasionfruit, citrus and tropical fruit salad. Nice caramel overtones among the hop aromas. Medium-light body - munich malts, caramel, biscuit among a citrusy tropical fruit. Balanced finish with a nice bitterness and a semi dry sweetness.

A nice APA. Lots of good floaters and an orange hue. Cirus notes. A good example of the style.

Strong fruity hop aroma on the really fresh bottles with a little caramel malt, this translates strongly in the taste which also has a lovely hint of zesty orange with a subtle malt backing. On older bottles the malt is more forward and really quite satisfying, i find the NZ hops kinda funky at times (especially on the older bottles) but it’s definitely enjoyable and makes for a different kind of pale experience. taste lingers on for a good amount of time. Really good beer that isnt afraid to be different.

KeefOz (1700) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - AUG 16, 2012
Poured a translucent honey amber colour with a two-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly but laced well. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of malt and sweet hops. Taste had faint malt but dominated a bit by hops which gave a mild bitterness. Medium body. Medium length slightly bitter finish but quite a good beer.

pours a nice golden colour with plenty of spicy fruity hops all held together by a solid malt backbone, quite tasty.

Rustic sweetness with a nice bitter tang. Dark yellow colour and a thin head. Not bland, not ordinary in taste, worth a try.

There?s a lot of carbonation on the pour, which lifts the aromas of pine and grsss. Looks pretty good with a cloudy amber body topped with a solid white head. Taste is a nice blend of biscuit malt and fresh hops. The hops tend to take over on the palate, and this is probably a bit more aggressively hopped than many similar Aussie APAs with resin notes coming through. Finishes crips and dry. Good beer.
