COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale is a classic US pale ale. Australian, English and German malts balance the huge citrus/pine hop aroma and flavour strongly influenced by generous use of US Centennial and New Zealand Motueka and Pacifica hops. A brilliant light-golden colour, Murray’s Angry Man Pale Ale has a full-bodied finish and complex character. This is well balanced with biscuity/toffee flavours from selected caramalts.

Pours dark golden colours, white head. Citrus aroma. Citrus and fruit in the taste with low bitterness and slight honey in the after taste.

pours a nice golden colour with plenty of spicy fruity hops all held together by a solid malt backbone, quite tasty.

A bit overcarbonated. Bottle has been warm for a few months. White, thick foam, stays well and tiny bubbles, lasts for several minutes. Clear, yet not totally see-through. Aroma is very fruity, a lot of melon, mango, passion. Not very citrusy and spicy. Overall aroma is mellow, soft, warm summer day in the garden. Hops are very straightforward, a lot of sweet fruit at first and then a subtle transformation into a quite weak bitter. Slight overcarbonation kills most of the malt flavours. Not very pretentious, perfect for a warm day and quenching thirst. Overall impression is good.

pale amber color. Huge grapefruit and pine nose. Light body and moderate aggressive bitterness.

Very pleasant, easy to drink. Grassy bitter, it could be a bit fruitier with the NZ hops, but still one of the best Aussie pale ales.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2014 Re-visited and rated up as my palate has taken a small step up in sophistication. Nice promising aroma, full bodied, high bitterness and reminiscent of tainted Chevron Ecuadorian rainforest water acridness. Quite satisfying. The beer that is. Screw Chevron.

Pours a copper colour with a small white head. Medium/high carbonation. Citrus and pine aromas. Some pineapple and passionfruit flavours also, balanced with a slightly complex malt profile. It is distinguishable that this beer uses US and NZ hops. Mild bitterness, making this pleasant

Bottle. Light orange. This bottle had a huge head that didn't dissipate due to over carbonation. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Citrus is the predominant aroma, however it is relatively subdued. Delicious malt body with a gentle sweetness backed by a strong citrus hop element. More English than American which is a welcome change.
