From a bottle. Pours deep amber brown with a lasting thin head, bready aroma with a hint of cinnamon, big rich spicy flavours with a warming finish, surprisingly smooth for such a huge beer. Well worth the effort to find. ShaneJ (903) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 4, 2016
Bottle from Murrays brewery (January 2015). Dark reddish-brown, creamy tan head, rich malty aroma, molasses, dates, port wine, piney bitterness, thick texture, full body, sweet slightly boozy finish. Delicious. bmeup (683) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2015
What a gem, with friends and some big cheese, big hop bitterness with the same malty sweetness to match. Cutting hops and moderate creamy body ensures a big smile, great beer.
