Bottle shared by someone at my table for the grand tasting. Thanks. Nice hazy blond pour. The flavor and aroma were not too strong, but it was still very pleasant. Mildly sweet, somewhat thicker mouthfeel, but still with refreshing aspects of a belgian blond. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2009
Draught fresh from the keg. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Straight from the pour the spicy, fruity aromatics of this beer teases me enough that I give in without any hesitation to take a sip. More of that goodness I like in a Tripel...fruit, spice, banana, bread and a touch of alcohol, that provides warmth in the mouthfeel. It’s true to the style, and once again Murray’s have added another tick to their repertoire. UnholyBrewing (595) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - FEB 13, 2009
...bottle. Poured a hazy golden orange, with a fluffy white head that lasted, with lacing. On the nose were orange notes, hints of vanilla and fruit, as well as some spicyness and candy. Flavors were complex, being fruity, spicy as well as malty. ALcohol was hidden well, with only a hint of it in the creamy finish. Heavy body, nice carbonation. They did a great job on this, and I wish I would have tried this brewery sooner. Great beer. Chrism86 (294) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2008 Pours slightly hazy golden orange with fizzy snow white head. Aromas are dominated by apricot with hints of banana. Palate is not too dissimilar, sweet, slightly chewy malt brings dried aprictos, while the yeast and hops bring a small amount of earthy spice. Probably a more modern interpretation of the belgian tripel style. winkle (478) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 18, 2008
Off keg: Poured a hazy dull gold with a small lasting head and good lacing. Aroma is slightly under stated, but good with spice, orange and alcohol notes. Rich body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel, maybe verging on the slightly too sticky. Complex flavours - orange, malty and spicy with a good balance from the hops. Most enjoyable.
