Hazy honey colour with a thick white head. Hints of passionfruit in the aroma and taste. Lovely bitter touches. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 15, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy amber with a big, fluffy white head. Awesome lacing. Notes of sweet caramel and sweet fruits, as well as hops. Very balanced. A great toffee and caramel undertone with sweet fruits and light lingering bitterness. Very balanced and lingers for ages. Aussie craft at it’s best. The problem I have been having with Murray’s beers however, is mass oxidation. A fair few Icon’s lately have been huge gushers and impossible to drink. This brings the score down a little for being inconsistent filiy (28) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 23, 2011
Poured out of bottle, dark goldeny colorm good head. Hoppy aroma, picked out carmel and fruityness in palate. Nice mouth feel, thought it would be more hoppy but it is a nice well balanced beer that you could have a couple of. anders37 (26257) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2011

Clear orange-copper with medium frothy, off-white head. Aroma is deliciously hoppy, apricot, fresh cut grass. Light caramel in the base, oranges and a mild vinious streak. Medium carbonation, great creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour has mild caramel and doughy malts at its centre. Strawberries, piney, high bitterness, grassy, light vinious. Long, lingering bitter, hoppy finish. Lovely beer.
330ml bottle. Full head of thick rich sand coloured foam. Golden orange colour with a full flavour of hops and roast malt. Well put together and full of flavour that leaves a lingering aftertaste. Nice to sit and savour. Maris (1499) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - DEC 4, 2010
From a 330ml bottle on 5/12/2010. Has a big fruity (lots of lychee), floral, piney hop aroma. Starts with sweet caramel malt, followed by an array of fruits, particularly ornage, passionfruit and grapefruit. Has an appropriately long and firm hop kick. An excellent IPA, let down only by the carbonation, which is a little excessive for my liking. Great to see an Aussie brewer making a beer with this much character. omhper (24980) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2010
Bottled, thanks baggio! Hazy pale amber, rich firm head. Aroma of sweaty grapefruit and gooseberry. Very sweet, bit fruity, near full bodied with dense mouthfeel. Cookie malt and orange marmelade. Growing late bitterness. Nice tropical fruit flavours, but too sweet. fonefan (48790) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2010
