330 ml bottle from Hawthorne Cellars. Pours black with medium tan head. Chocolate aroma definitely comes through in both aroma and flavour. Good, but I prefer the base RIS more.

Bottle shared by Countbeer. Thanks! Opaque pitch black color with a medium sized dark brown head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, dark malts, chocolate. Taste malts, chocolate, cocoa, dark malts and soft roast. Medium body, silky texture, average carbonation. Nice chocolate stout. Fuzy brown head.
Nose of roast, toffee, light bay leaf and liquorice wood and some cacoa (roast)...
Flavours of roast, hops, bitters, light spice, tar, liquorice, hints of toffee, mocha, cacoa, light coffee and some hop fruity tints...
Aftertaste is bitter, roast, liquorice wood, light coffee, some cacoa and some coffee (roast)...
Low carbo, light creamy close to silky mouthfeel, more than medium bodied.
From a bottle. This thing is a beast, heaps of rich bitter chocolate flavours, the alcohol is not too noticeable, delicious. Scotchy (32) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 5, 2016
The best Aussie beer I had this year. The ABV might sneak up on you as this is totally drinkable. Like an iced mocha. Awesome!

Bottle from Beer Cartel 210815. Definitely dark not so sure about the dirty. Big and boozy this is a beer that you can sit and enjoy for ages-no Rush just a great flavoursome beer. You know that it is going to be a good beer the moment you start pouring the contents of the bottle into the glass and see the cascading waterfall of black goodness. The amount of chocolate in this beer is spot on. Some chocolate stouts are so sickly sweet that they are almost undrinkable but not this one. Well balanced and well brewed. Pours black with a small, light tan head. blipp (9794) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 17, 2015
Nose shows milk chocolate, soft roast, sultanas and bready malt.
Flavours include heaps of dry roasty, toasty notes, cocoa, soft booze and liquorice.
Bottle. Pours near black with a beige head. Rich chocolate and lightly roasted malts, mild sweetness, faint bitterness, and a light roasted malty finish. A touch overcarbonated, but otherwise pretty good. hawthorne00 (4153) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 4, 2015
Bottle, 12C. Black with a brown head that’s soon less than a coat but lasts at the rim. Powerful aroma with heavy roast, dark chocolate, rum, blackcurrants, licorice, ash. Silky mouthfeel, lowish carbonation. Lots of bittersweet but not particularly thrilling chocolate and certainly sweeter than normal Wild Thing. Doesn’t bury the roast and berries, but they’re strong supporting players rather than leads. Strong (mostly roasted) bitterness with floral, tropical fruit and spicy notes tidies things up nicely at the end. Bit salty there too. Happily - and I guess predictably - the in your face base beer wins in the end. Good.
