Opaque black - brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and mildly dry. Mild fine carbonation. Nice dark malts, light in feel but rich in taste. Little dark malt cream and smooth mild dark chocolate. Finishes smooth and pretty dry with the malts turning slightly bitter. Interesting and tasty.
Bottle at home from my GBBF haul .... deep black ... small brown head ... soft open light pine hop and dark roast malt nose ... big meaty malt roast .. big pine hop ... but not over powering ... juicy body ... really quite nice ... omhper (25949) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2013

Warming finish. nice imperial stout with a full array of flavours without getting oversized. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2011
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Hard roast malt aroma almost tarry. Very solid body, pours almost thick and syrupy, tarry and lightly roasty with a ton of hard roast malt. Some malt bitterness. This is heavy duty shit, a real impressive "classic" and untreated Imperial Stout. 150311
