Bottle. Clear red / amber color with a average fair lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours hazy orange with ahuge white head. Aroma is very fruity hoppy. Flavour is soft, good bitterness with a soft malt profile beneath. Not really sweet, nor too dry, very well balanced.

Ungstrup (37583) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 4, 2005
[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] An unclear orange beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is sweet with hints of diacethyl as well as oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of honey and it has a dry hoppy end. The diacethyl is a drawback for me.

Bottled. Hazy dark orange, brief lively head. Fruty orangey nose. Sweet with soft, lively mouthfeel and medium body. Pleasant malt flavours along with caramel and notes of ash. grassy bitter finish. The best steam beer I’ve had!

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 24, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber coloured with a fine, small, creamy head. Soft and fresh with fruity notes of grapefruit without being bitter or acidic at all. Very rare style, but I dare claim, that this is actually better than Anchor Steam! 220505

Muddy golden color. Pretty nice hoppy aroma. Medium malty taste, quite sweet, good hop aromas, not too much bitter. Pleasant.

3.5
yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 26, 2006
Bottled. Copper-colored, almost clear beer with an off-white head. Quite sweet aroma with malt, caramel and a good pinch of hops. The flavor starts malty-sweet, and caramel and hops comes right behind. Medium body. The hoppy finish comes stronger and stronger, and is quite mouth-drying. (060524)
