Pours a golden colour with a 1/2" head. Tastes of sweet-ish malt and bready with citrus undertones. Not to over the top, but finely balanced. I’d have it again. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 16, 2014
Reviewing from notes based on the Muskoka variety pack I got a while ago. Didn’t have much head or flavor, a typical malty lager. Comparable to drinking a bottle of water. 97hill (224) - - JUL 6, 2014
A can from the Beer Store, thought I would pick up a lager or two, for guests.
After a bike ride I thought what the hell, give one a try.
Disappointed ! Yep
No head, virtually tasteless, thin
As my Dad used to call American beer, a boy and a girl in a canoe ( fuckin near water)
Muskoka I love your stuff, this one not

Scent of oak, honey, and roasted malt. Clear straw colour. Flavour of honey, malt, and biscuit. Medium body with mild carbonation. A pretty solid lager. YigSvartka (449) - Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 12, 2014
Translucent golden hue, served cool, no head. Nearly imperceptible aroma consisting of honey and yeast. Taste is much better. Still extremely smooth and refreshing akin to any other pale lager, but a pleasantly sweet aftertaste remains that surpasses the vile finish with most macro lagers. A wee bit of bitterness makes it more complex as well. Would have preferred this ice cold though.

Purchased as part of the Muskoka Survival Pack. Initial pour is a light amber pour with minimal head, Beer is slightly cloudy, head dissipates rather quickly. Mildly malty with little hop aroma. Initial tastes are a mild hop flavour that quickly turns into a sweet, bread-like flavour that ends in a dry finish. Thin mouthfeel weak body. Ultimately a generic craft lager. Not great, but not terrible by any means. Still better than any macro brew out there. shorlin (736) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - DEC 6, 2013
Colour is nice, little darker than macro lager. OK head retention. Aroma is surprisingly malty. Not too malty, but enough to know that this is a well-made beer. taste is great, good sweetness but also some bitterness. Feel is light/medium, but very drinkable with no off characteristics. Aftertaste has that bitterness, but very pleasant all around. Good beer. mmacleod75 (112) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2013
Poured light golden colour with small foamy head. Earthy, grassy aroma, slight sweetness. Mostly the same grassy flavour, and not much else. Smooth mouthfeel. mnurda (1298) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
Bottled sample at Jw Marriott in Muskoka. Fairly clear colour. Good amount of hops. Good afternoon beer

Pretty decent lager with a semi-full body. Not much in the way of depth other than the malts and on the slightly sweet side, but quite smooth, almost creamy. Will buy again.
