Dark amber color with creamy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, maybe some fudge. Very good toffee flavor, with smooth mouthfeel, and correct bitterness; the hop is quite resiny; long final. Balanced and bold. Very good.
341mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose brings out earthy notes, caramel malt and some stale bready notes. Flavour is very malty and earthy, with bready caramel dominating with a touch of hops. Seems a bit stale. Okay. Oakes (18828) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 26, 2015
