Bottle, 5%. My introduction to the kristallweizen, which is supposedly (correct me) a light-bodied, filtered hefeweizen cousin. Anyhoo. Slightly hazy golden pour with a white head. Aroma is spices (clove, nutmeg), floral, and a hint of orange zest. Taste is bubblegum, quite sweet and punchy with the aromatics, a little too much so. Gets a little too air freshener in its qualities for my liking. thebhoy (61) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2013
A nice, easy drinking beer from Muskoka. Nice hint of wheat beer flavours that are thinned a bit into something of a light, summery drink that could be quite sessionable gilvanblight (826) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - APR 5, 2013
Clear golden pour with a lot of carbonation, at least to the eye. White head. Citrus soapy smell. Sadly the soap is more than the citrus. WTF are my taste buds off? I usually really dig Weiss beers and Muskoka and this did not live up to either expectation. Lots of mixed citrus tastes that seem to be competing and no one is winning. Now I did just have a rather strong spiced strong ale, and I usually save this style for summer so maybe that’s it. Right now this is just not what I want. Bottle. Medium golden colour, nearly clear, average white head with poor retention. Aroma is estery wheat, lightly spicy. Wheaty palate with light spicy yeast. As with so many examples in this style,I’m not sure what is gained by filtering out the yeast. Missing the soft mouthfeel and the added phenols that make a hefe such a treat. Not bad though. yrstruly (333) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 12, 2013
Pours clear gold with a white head. The aroma is typical weizen - banana, clove, bubble gum - but a bit subdued. The taste is pretty crisp and clear, but with a metallic edge that definitely does not work with the style. Medium-light body and a light noble hop finish.

First of the "Rough Cut Series" and found in their Survival Pack (which is 3 bottles of Cream Ale, Dark Ale, Mad Tom and this one). Still, a little hazy (so, not so Kristall) and with a small white head and not much lacing. Wheat nose with eventually, hints of banana, bubblegum and Belgian Ale yeast. Medium-thin bodied, which makes this one easy and refreshing to drink. The hop seems to slightly overpower the taste at the start, with floral flavours that then go into the yeast and wheat, with a little spices. A really enjoyable 12-pack for New Year’s Eve, with a nice addition to their family. Decent for this style. mabel (9245) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 28, 2012
[4585-20120706] 355mL bottle. Light spicy grass straw yeast aroma. Hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Lightly spiced or tart straw yeast flavour. Light-medium body. Tasty and refreshing! (7-/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Really quite bad. A bit of a bland appearance, but a fantastic taste and nose. A floral and herbal nose with a bit of a mellow wheat malt. A really nice light wheat beer taste with not too much spice of fruit...a bit of citrus thats it. Well balanced and a good little session wheat brew!
