Pours copper with a thin yellowish head. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is bitter with notes of soapy grapefruit, smoke, and a touch of malty sweetness. Grassy, spicy hops follow. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. A bit too much hops for my taste. DougPeters (1) - Oshawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017 does not count
One of the best IPAs on the market. Well balanced. Complex, amazing flavour. Just enough citrus up front without going overboard, very hoppy through the middle but not too sweet, still tastes like a good strong beer, nice bitter finish that doesn’t linger. Hoppy aftertaste. Beautiful beer. PeteP (24) - Cornwall, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 24, 2016
Pint glass.. Golden amber with a quickly dissipating head. Nice lacing in my glass. Sweet, fruity, spicy with a sweet, bitter finish. This is a well balanced, drinkable, even sessionable IPA that goes down nicely with barbecued tenderloin steaks. When you begin to discover IPAs, this is a must-taste! Draft. Half hazy yellow body, small white head. Very hoppy aroma, with herbs. The taste is strong and the finish is long. Well balanced. googleimage83 (164) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2016
Pours dark gold-orange with a brownish tinge, soapy clingy head. Fruity but restrained hop scent - citrus and pine, strong malt presence. Taste is lemon, grapefruit juice in the start, big bitter hop in the finish - still citrusy but a touch medicinal. Cracker and caramel malt body. Balance is slightly imperfect, but this is still a very good IPA.

Dark gold and clear, this IPA has hints of orange, orange peel, apricot, honey and nutmeg. Hints of metallic notes and some grassy undertones. It has medium malt, high hops and a medium full body which is likely the result of its dry-hopping. It's chewy and slightly bitter but quite refreshing.

Drank w Matt on first day in Toronto at E11even. Good amount of resin bitterness, some crisp lightly peppery malt, body is medium and quite bitter. Faint stone fruit and fine frothiness. Decent and v drinkable. Subliminal64 (170) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 25, 2016
Part of a Summer Mixer pack. First of all, I do not particularly enjoy IPA’s, so my rating should be taken that way. Second, I love this brewery. Smells of a good dose of hops. Pours a dark gold. Head dissolves quick. Taste is not as bitter as other IPA’s, but past the point in which I can enjoy it. The Detour IPA is about my limit. Good carbonation, but awful aftertaste. Overall I got exactly what I thought. I have no doubt this is a quality beer, just not my kind of beer. MB The Beer Bear On Ungstrup (37309) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2016
Can. A golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruit, caramel, and malt, leading to a bitter finish JunctionCat (84) - toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2016
Is a hard one to review, because its so different and its hard to tell if thats the bar, brewery or beer store. When its good its pretty good, balanced and hoppy - but to often its malty and aged and kind of lacking oomph. Could be the bars, the draught lines etc - but happens a lot, so hard to say. Still worth trying when you see it, maybe taste a friends first ;) because when its on its worth it.
