Makes me mad that there aren’t more beers like this. The barrage of citrus hops will knock your socks off, yet the underlying balance and flavour will keep you grounded. lvanbelkom (11) - Brampton, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2013
Tried this one on tap at a hotel bar; perfect blend of bitterness with a light tinge of grapefruit (not too much). Probably one if not the best readily available I.P.A.s in Ontario. tdavie (19) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 12, 2013
This is my ’go to’ session beer, and along with Red Race from BC the definitive Canadian IPA.

One of the best IPAs on the market. Well balanced. Complex, amazing flavour. Just enough citrus up front without going overboard, very hoppy through the middle but not too sweet, still tastes like a good strong beer, nice bitter finish that doesn’t linger. Hoppy aftertaste. Beautiful beer. skippy007 (26) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2013
355ml bottle from LCBO. A favourite of mine and a great example of a North American IPA. Pours golden with foamy head that later settles. Citrus and floral aroma. Flavour is hop driven and bitter to the end. Pleasant fresh fruit aftertaste. Sit back and enjoy the taste of summer!

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy yellowy orange colour with a finger or so of white head with little retention. The head fades leaving quite a bit of fine lacing.
Aroma: Pine, grapefruit, mandarin oranges, caramel, yeast, light malt.
Flavours: Pine, grapefruit, hops, cereal, hints of yeast.
Mouthfeel: Full and a bit sticky with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I love this IPA and have drank it many times but never rated it before for some reason. This to me is one of the best IPAs going. The aromas are strong with pine and citrus right off the bat. The flavour comes through full bore with pine and grapefruit. Awesome!
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2011 341mL bottle from a BS sixer. Pours a nice bright pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is really fantastic, pungent hop presence with some sweeter aspects, kind of reminds me of old fasioned bubblegum, or powdered sugar, in a pleasant way. Flavour is even better, piney hops upfront met with a huge load of citrus and a very solid malty backbone. Pale malt seems like a background character despite the appearance of the beer, and I get more deep biscuity malt aspects that I would expect from darker IPA’s. Finish is mildly dry and aftertaste is a perfect blend of it all. Everything flows so well and works together, the balance is ideal. This is exactly what I want to drink all summer, and the exact kind of beer I want an Ontario brewery to put out as a regular offering. Outstanding. d07c0m (126) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2011
A much needed product for the Ontario market. This is an exceptionally smooth and clean beer with a pungently bitter hop profile and solid malt body with notes of grapefruit and spice. Very excited not only that there is a new Muskoka product but that they are able to pull it off so well along with their new packaging which has them going back to bottles with stylish new packaging and labels. kevinsenn (2210) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 30, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2013 6-pack from the LCBO. This stuff is great! Pours golden and cloudy, amazing grassy hoppy aroma, hoppy fruity taste, and a fantastic bitter citrusy finish. One of the best Canadian IPAs I’ve had. Edit: I have a feeling they’ve changed the recipe at some point recently. I’ve continued to drink this over and over, and now it’s different from my original description. Now clear and amber, rather than golden and cloudy. Aroma as incredible as ever, though now more fruity than grassy. The taste is more balanced than I seem to recall. You can definitely taste some nice malty sweetness along with the fruits before the IBUs take over. My score remains the same, other than the appearance. Stought (2) - - MAR 6, 2012 does not count
This is a great ipa. Bitter and a bit cloudy for the perfect ipa. Brewed by muskoka brewery right here in Canada.
