Gold pour with lots of lasting head. Scent had that ’generic beer’ smell. Fairly robust for a light beer but still has that ’lite taste’ Better then the Trafalgar I just tried but not really that good. jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2010
2010-07-15. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Mild aroma, grassy hop character. 5+ Flavour is similar, very mild bitterness, light grassy hops. Average palate suits it, lightly carbonated. Pretty decent for a lighter beer, but its pretty mild and simple overall. Not super exciting, but decent. Can from the LCBO, Toronto

gold pour with a medium foamy head.
Aroma was grainy, somewhat crackerish maltiness and light grassy hop.
Flavour was sweet grainy malt, earthy hop and light mineral-ish tones in the finish. Strangebrewer (1344) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010
can. Poured clear, straw coloured with a large frothy white head. Light bready malt aroma. Medium bodied, creamy texture. Nice malt flavour with decent hops. Finishes slightly tart and dry. Never would have guessed it was light. cyrenaica (1159) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2010

I tried this beer on July 27, 2010 after purchasing a Muskoka Taster Pack from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a huge bubbly white head which quickly disappeared. The aroma was grassy malt and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some weak hops, and a bitter metallic finish - but the flavour was certainly better than a lot of ’non-light’ pale lagers in North America.

Aroma : wet grainy nose with secondary light grassy hop feel. Mild.
Appearance: clear straw gold with large bright whit top.3+
Flavour and Palate: medium bodied. Clean golden soft malt feel with good frontal and top hop character. Refreshing raw leafy finish. Crisp with dry end. Softer mid. Quiet good.
Yellow pour, small white head. Light hops on the aroma with some light grains snd bready malts. A little wattery, but it’s a decent beer, a great summer patio quencher. mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2010

Can [473ml]. Pours a clear bubbly pale gold with a large somewhat-lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of light grassy hops, grain, biscuity malt and some honey sweetness -- decent. Flavour’s light but nice, starting with a good amount of grassy hops (for the style) with a good malt backbone, some light honey sweetness, fruit and a decent bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. I’m sure they added "Light" to the name to get the Ontario sales but it’s unnecessary as many Pilseners are on the lighter abv side as it is and also to their credit, it’s on style, something some other Ontario Pilseners aren’t -- I’ll be getting more as it’s a great Summer beer. cfrancis (3574) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 5, 2010
Don’t know why I picked this up. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is skunky, grainy and bread. Taste is biscuity, malt and oxidized bleh.
