COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While the legend of Mad Tom is laden with mystery and intrigue, one thing remains clear: Mad Tom did things his own way. Twice as Mad Tom is an aggressively twice-dry-hopped Imperial India Pale Ale, that delivers a definitive hop aroma & unabashedly big bold flavour. We brew this beer with the road less traveled in mind, and in the spirit of old Mad Tom...we make no bones about it.

Alpha10 (789) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014
2014/05/12 - Pours a translucent burnt orange colour with a frothy, off white head that laces nicely. Aroma is HUGE caramel, grain, pine, citrus and mild tropical fruits. Taste is sweet caramel, grain, pine, grapefruit, orange, citrus and mango/tropical fruits. Aftertaste is lingering caramel sweetness and bittering hops. Medium body with smooth carbonation and a long, drying finish. A great "go to" Ontario DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Much sweeter than the Mad Tom IPA. A little smoother drinking and not so bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2014
Bottle from Bierkompass.de, March 2014. Slightly hazy orange wiith a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, orange, grass and some mango. The finish was bitter. Not bad but it felt a bit "tired".

Oakes (18186) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 23, 2014
Slightly hazy amber. Floral hop aroma, light sticky aroma. Sweet sticky with lots of fruity hops.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2015 Wow... intense hops to the nose, a power-packed grapefruit, citrus kick to the tongue! How bad boy is this beer? It’ll pull down your pants, steal your lunch money and hit you in the face with a dodgeball. And that’s after it makes out with your Mom and posts it on YouTube. Twice as Bad and Mad than we’ll ever be. One of the finest IPAs in Canada

samzim (434) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 7, 2014
Scent fruity scent of hops, lychee, and grapefruit. Clear honey colour. Fruity flavour of citrus on the front, with a bitter finish. Medium body with mild carbonation. A tasty beer!

ILduce (284) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2014
Bottle LCBO: opaque orange brown beer with beige head. Somewhat subdued Notes of hops, citrus fruit and alcohol. Taste has much more punch. Herbal, bready flavours with tropical fruit and hops. Intense, but enjoyable bitterness. Truly a well made dipa.

vadie (1256) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 16, 2014
Ambré foncer avec une grande mousse beige stable. L’arôme de houblon agrumé. Le goût est sucré, des agrumes, avec une bonne amertume en finale.

WALDOSHI (1) - Miami, Florida, USA - FEB 9, 2014 does not count
Brilliant "embellishment" of the Legend of Mad Tom and a great beer from one of Canada’s best Craft Breweries. Glad I smuggled it home. A real West Coast body and mouth feel...only downside is the aroma....it is very hidden/subdued...unlike Mad Tom.
