(On tap) Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head leaving some laces. Exotic, spicy and enticing aroma. Medium body with light notes of caramel, exotic fruits and a dry and fairly bitter finish. Incredibly flavourful for such a light beer. 290108

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy brownish amber, no head. Strong spicy aroma - I get cinnamon and ginger. Light bodied and medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. It is rather fruity and has some late herbal bitterness. An interesting beer.

2016-05-10. Crisp dark amber body, modest off white head. Aroma has an interesting almost spicy green herbaceous vegetation character that reminds me a bit of Anchor OSA. Flavour is interesting, green herbaceous character, moderate bitterness throughout. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Tasty, fairly different. 7/3/6-7/3/15-16 On tap at Brew, Rotorua, NZ.

DuffMan (9910) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 17, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Very fragrant fruity perfume aroma, not at all like tea-tree oil as I would have expected (manuka is New Zealand tea tree). Equally generous portions of sweet malt and uniquely appealing floral and fruity perfume. Extremely tasty, full flavoured, and perfectly balanced. Unique and fantastic, worth seeking out. Compellingly drinkable!
