jookos (7227) - FINLAND - OCT 29, 2016
Bottle. Black. Roasty malts, pretty nice malty. Med bldied, bit short flavour, pretty ok tho. Malty, bordering on grainy, dryish, some doughy yeast in finish. Ok, thought the nose was really promising.

Bottle at hotel room in Helsinki. Thanks to Jookos! Colour is dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee and roasted malts. Little bit of too carbonated and nothing special.

Hermod (8714) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2016
Bottle at hotel tasting, pre Olutexpo. Thx Jookos! Pours pretty much black in color with a brown head. Milky sweet notes, oat, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Ashy notes as well. Flavor has dark chocolate, coffee, ash, some tobacco. Much drier than the aroma promised. Pretty tasty.

MartinT (10239) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 18, 2016
My Bottom Line:
Milk chocolate seeps into roasty bitterness, as hop resins and dark malt acidity create complexity.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A large head of foam covers the blackness.
-The important roastiness also adds a drying effect.
-Malt flavors are well developed.
-Mouthfeel could be softer, to my tastes.

Bottle.

Bottle [from Secret Santa Europe thanks to FatPhil] @ home. Opaque very dark brown to black color, medium sized brown to dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly hints of smoke. Taste malts, lightly roast, dark malts, malt bitter, bitter. A bit thinner texture wise than I had expected, body is decent, carbonation is firm and a bit fizzy. Decent porter.
