3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty malty...with nothing too distinguishable. Hops are only faintly present. Not a bad "lawn mowing" beer...but not really comparable to other O/M beers.
Amber color with a small lid of light beige bubbles. Lightly toasted malt and biscuits in the aroma. Just a hint of sulfur, akin to the scent just after a match was lit. Earthy malt flavors, with a touch too much earth. Light sweetness creeps in. Light wood in the finish. 1/11

Faint malt and wood aroma. Bronze color with a foamy color. Average body. Malt profile with a finish of slight smoke. Interesting. askewbrew (26) - Edmond, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 14, 2014

Pours out to a decent frothy head that falls to a thin permanent head and tries to lace a bit. Aroma is toasty, nutty, spicy, grassy and very slightly stale and cheezy. I don’t know how old this beer is. This is the right time of year and the bottle was not dusty, so I assume it is this season’s batch. (rolls eyes). Taste-wise, it is a malty and tea-like front, Michelob Amber Bock middle and dry grassy finish. Vegetal aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and slightly astringent. Overall, a passable American amber lager but nowhere near an O-fest. Fail. deyholla (12582) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2013
On tap. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has notes of grassy hops, sweet grains and lager yeast. Flavor is full of bread and grains notes with a bit of underlying lager yeast. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - NOV 26, 2012
Bottle, pours brown with a tan head. Aroma is nuts and earthy malt. Flavor is some sweet malt, and buttered toast. Glad this was only a single.

A big thank you to my neighbor TL for this sixer from Oklahoma! .. . Pours a deep orange .. low foam .. . caramel mostly, and unsweetened marmalade .. . not very tasty, this is either last years batch or this is just shit .. still happy to have gotten to try it though! .. . . ahh, there goes buttface, and her dog... Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow orange color with a white head. The aroma is fairly straightforward and includes a lot of grain and bread notes. The flavor is more of the same. The beer is very grainy tasting with some toffee and a hint of grass. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nothing to seek out here. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 4, 2012
(12oz bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grain, and butter. Flavor of caramel, butterscotch, nuts, and grain. Onionkid (390) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Bottle. Caramel and malt aroma. The taste has a bready quality to it and the same flavor as the aroma. Not a particularly great beer, but not bad. 5.6% abv. gururyan (730) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 23, 2011
This is their "oktoberfest" as explained to me by their rep at a recent tasting. It is their worst beer yet. Stay away.
