On tap. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, biscuit, butter scotch and buttered popcorn. Flavor has strong butterscotch and popcorn notes with a hint of biscuit underlying. rosenbergh (11613) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 16, 2013

Clear amber colour with a small white head.
The aroma is very malty. Caramel malty sweetness. The flavour is caramel malty sweet with some mild hoppy bitter notes. Pretty easy but/and drinkable American Lager.
Clear amber color with ivory head. Floral, herbal, caramel aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Lightly sweet caramel, fruit flavors with toast--lightly bitter finish---not bad. WooPigBrewey (46) - North Little Rock, Arkansas, USA - AUG 8, 2013
I believe this is now called Mustang Sixty-Six Lager (trademark problems with Route 66?). Has a nice golden amber color and a light malty aroma on the pour. Nice body. Tastes is very clean and sweet, some light caramel and biscuity notes with hints of hops in the finish. Nice flavor for a lager.

Golden amber color with a thin off white head. Light malty nose. Caramel sweetness with lots of biscuit and toast notes. Clean beer with a nice green hop finish. Full flavored lager. Stevesie (336) - - MAY 14, 2013
From bottle. Dark gold, almost amber with a thin white, mostly dissipating head. Nose is dominated by biscuits. Nice body and flavor with a shot of bitterness near the end. Clean finish. Very solid for a lager. gururyan (727) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Poured from bottle, clear golden orange, good head and lacing, extremely smooth with great body...particularly for a lager. I’m not sure why I’ve waited so long to try this Okie brew. Very chuggable and more flavor than you’d expect. I’m quite surprised by this given several circumstances.
