Pours dark and murky. Not the worst bit nothing at all really stands out about it. Meh.

[Bottle] Pour is reminiscent of Coca Cola in color. Fizzy head disappears quickly. Sweet and malty nose includes light mulled spice and toffee. Taste is of caramel, toffee, light brown sugar, light fruitiness and lingering spice. Light to medium body. Tasting notes from 11/2011.

Very nice aroma, with the smell of roasted malts. This is a pleasant beer with a mild but good flavor. This is a nice beer to drink several of.

Surprisingly dark beer for a lager but given that it has a good flavor and aroma. Darker than I expected but still flavorful and drinable

A smokey winter light that has a bourbon tasting finish. Smells smokey and has a smokey aftertaste. Had at home and I tame from my beer of the month club. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Light earthy roast malt aroma. Dark brown with a large tan head. Bland roasty malt flavor with a very subtle bitter finish. Light body, moderate carbonation.

12oz. Pours near black with a small light brown head that dissapears into a small ring. Dark fruit, yeast, and licorice to nose. Flavor is sweet with plum, loads of rasin, caramel, and bready notes. Lacking carbonation and somewhat syrupy. Blech
