650ml bottle [Thanks to Aziz for organising the import!]. Clear golden colour with average, thick, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Strawy and slightly grainy aroma, a touch of corn and yeast dough. Taste is slightly bitter and minimally soapy hoppy, minimally sweet pale malty basis; minimally watery, smooth and soft palate.

Grumbo (2436) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2016
Bottle bought in Equatorial Guinea and brought back to uk by Steve H (cheers!). Country #144. Pours golden with a small lasting white head. Aroma of maize, yeast and washing up liquid. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Towards medium bodied, creaminess to texture, quite soft carbonation. Not too bad.

Picked up a bottle at a Congolese grocer in the Matongé neighbourhood of Brussels. Clear golden with a somewhat creamy head. Very active carbonation. Aroma is skunky hops, grains, and malt. Taste is moderately sweet, a bit peppery. Dry finish.

Bottle 0,65ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an decent bitter taste, must say taste almost like an Beck’s Pilsener. Bought it in the Hague at Africa Products Shop, Spui 231. And now this is mine first Cameroon tick, despite the Cameroronian Guinness yesterday becacause that one was aliased.

Erzengel (8447) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2014
Heavy 0,65l bottle found in an african shop in Brussels.
Dark golden in the glass, very grainy nose. The beer starts malty, slightly grainy and very dry. More Pils typical than normal Pale Lager. Nice crisp and bitter, easy to drink. The mainpart is crisp, a bit watery and grainy-dry. Slightly bitter. The aftertaste is medium, grainy-crisp, dry, nicely hopped and very refreshing!
Nice and decent brew! --> 10/12/11/10

Bottle shared with GT2, always a pleasure to make you drink these crappy, er, I mean, share this intriguing and delicious African beers with you. Clear golden color, large fluffy white head, decent lacing. Aroma of cardboard and wet paper. Taste is cardboard, with a subtle background of white pepper. Could be worse.

650mL thanks to Travlr. Clear, deep gold with a larger white head. No lacing. Nose is full on skunky hops with honey and sticky malt. Taste is metallic, very sticky, very papery with cardboard and old candy corn. Stale apple juice. Eh. Nothing so bad. Certainly not good. Relatively inoffensive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Getreidiger, leicht malziger Nachgeschmack. Langweilig. Test vom 29.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,4,5,4,5 - 5,00

Bov (12556) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 17, 2006
pours a clear golden colour under a big creamy foam; no aroma except some corny notes; medium-bodied, slightly sweet but mainly neutral, no bitterness at all and a short watery finish - useless
