COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Haacht White is an unfiltered, top-fermented, light wheat beer. It is brewed with barley malt, wheat malt and unmalted wheat. The beer gains its spicy aroma from the addition of coriander and orange zest. The top-fermentation process produces brief fruity notes. The sensation in he mouth is somewhat fuller than one would suspect from its density. This is caused by the presence of yeast cells and protein that together create a slight cloudiness.

Bottled, thanks Wim & Els! Cloudy yellow, small head. Aroma of coriander, lemon and boiled vegetables. Sweetish with clean, hard mouthfeel. Wheat malt and orange peels. Edgy with surprisingly low drinkability.

Bottle, [email protected] Pours clear golden with a small, staying creamy white head. Aroma has wheat, soap, citrus, lemon. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite thin mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet wheat, sharpish citrus. Blah.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2013 6/II/13 - 33cl bottle @ Het Verdronken Land (Gent) - BB: n/a (2013-139)

Cloudy pale yellow beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, coriander, little metallic, grassy, hay, bit of grains. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: pretty sour, lemony, some vinegar, wheat sourness, grains, grassy, bit sugary (strange enough). Aftertaste: sour, lemony, vinegar, overripe fruits, bit sweet, mainly sour, some vomit, unpleasant.

25 cl. bottle @ Derby in Ekeren. Ah the base beer for their craptastic line of fruit beers. Pours pretty hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Taste is heavy on sweet wheat, white sugar, white bread, fells rather fake with lots of sweet lemon but not like real lemons, sweet yeast & cornbread. Creamy wheat mouthfeel. Bit odd with the sweet lemon & artificial feel but not bad too drink actually. Definitely more enjoyable than the pretty bad “kriek” version or the reprehensibly horribly “lime” version. Industrial but not entirely off-putting. There are no offensive flavours in here at least.

Pale yellow, hazy, lasting fluffy head. Wheaty aroma and flavour. Fresh and not too sweet.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle: Medium to bigger vast white head, disappears slow on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell wheat, light lemon, hints of dishwater, hint of vanilla, light sweaty and some corn. Taste lemon, light citrus, wheat, corn, hint of hops, malts, light bitter and lighter sweets, some herbs, hint of vanilla. Soft, smooth and light creamy. Aftertaste is light and disappears fairly quick; wheat, grass, some light forest herbs, a light bitterness, and some floral herbs. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Decent beer.

jaghana (6115) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - APR 1, 2017
Bottle 33cl, a cloudy golden beer with huge head and good retention, nose is on wheat and malt, some lemon notes. Aroma is on the same, quite malty body, light agrumes, low body, very basic, soapy finish.
