TBone (18105) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 6, 2014
Bottle 500ml (MBS)
Dark clear nut brown color, small off-white head. Fermented raisins and caramel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet bock: raisins, caramel, bread, just some bitterness in the finish. Dessert bock which is a bit too sweet for my liking (as a bock).

Beerhunter111 (22268) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 4, 2014
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, leicht würzig.

chrisv10 (18240) - DENMARK - APR 24, 2013
Bottle, 6.4%. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel and bread. Flavour is malt, caramel, bread, medium sweet, little metallic, little hop and a little bitter.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 10, 2013
50cl bottle, German Bock sampler. Diving into this given the protracted winter, which is starting to feel like autumn again. - Old-school Dunkelbock, a syrupy representative of the grandad assumption that Bock should just be an amped-up, sugar concoction of a regular Dunkel. Virtually aromaless, near roasted Vitamalz. ABV are well hidden and wholly unnecessary as there is no taste to enhance. Presumably natural hops buried deep beneath the sticky mouthfeel of this filling "winter warmer" drainpour. Be alarmed by the alien he-goat on the hideous outsider art label!
