DraftDodger (1524) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2017
Copenhagen 14/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Spar in Karrebæksminde. Copper orange label with Næstved Brewerys symbol (a stylized hop). Pours copper orange with tight white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Aroma has caramel sweetness which is almost overpowered by dry bitter lightly roasted notes. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor has a medium sweet malt base. It is followed by distinct dry bitterness. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Quite bitter and quite English in the taste. Nice take on a English Pale Ale/Bitter.

500 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a disappearing off-white head. Light malty aroma with some berries, close to blackcurrant. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel and berries, not much bitterness. Medium body. OK, quite soft in the mouth, nothing complex, rather typical to style.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 30, 2012
Bottle. A more or less clear one, dark golden in color and topped by a small, off-white to beige head. Some candy notes in the aroma, with a touch of maltyness and some caramel. The same goes for the flavor, it’s quite dry on the palate, medium bodied and with a decent carbonation, Pleasant bitterness. Anyway, it’s a nice beer in some ways, but quite ordinary. 120430
