Draught at brew pub. Cloudy ligh gold, big carbonated white head. Aroma has lots of banana, some wheat and spice. Flavour has some sour notes, not too much yeast, very carbonated.
Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Nose of banana, sourish citrus, cloves. Cloudy amber color, thick fluffy white head. Wheaty initial, with light sour citrus, banana, maybe honey, light yeast note, and gentle bitterness. Thin-medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty decent, and certainly a notch up from their other beers. KansaiBeerLvrs (5096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 13, 2015
Bottle from the Brewery picked up as an omiyage for my wife at Craft Beer Live 2015. It pours a lovely cloudy gold with a big bready banana weizen nose with fruity clove notes. A bit light bodied. The taste is somewhat cardboard, see and tart with bready banana & light clove notes. A fairly decent weizen that I look forward to trying on tap sometime. On tap at brewpub. Hazy gold body, medium fluffy head. Aromas of yeast, wheat and fruits excellent. Relaxed body. Delicious flavours of citrus and yeast- this feels immediately the most 'hand made' of the Nagahama brews. Solid stuff. worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2011
Banana, fruit, wheat, hops, malt smell. Golden, orange, cloudy look. soft carbonation, medium body, lightly bitter banana. watery, And a light bitter finish. Rather simple and plain for a weizen.

On tap at the brewery.
Golden with a touch of orange. Medium head, rather cloudy. Stong fruit and wheat malt aroma, medium sweetness, with bananas, citrus, and cloves. Great fruit flavors, banana, citrus, yeast. A bit sour, medium sweetness. Lacks the strong yeast signature of their barley beers. Dryish finish of wheat malt, fruit, and spice. Great balance, rather light, very fruity and good dryness. Medium body and lighter carbonation.

Somewhat hazy. Pleasant banana aroma and lingering aftertaste... easy to drink and quite enjoyable. MartinT (9851) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 2, 2007

This half Weizen, half Blond Ale’s biscuity maltiness and herbal hop bitterness supercede its banana esters and citrusy zest, but fear not: it remains quite drinkable and pleasurable.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam surfs the hazy yellow blond.
-The prickly effervescence is a little too forthcoming for my tastes.
-This is not your textbook Weizen, so that’s fun.
-It’s cleanly-brewed and well-structured, just maybe not the recipe that’ll impress you.
On tap at Towers.
Slightly hazy golden color. Very clovey with what reminded me of banana cream pie, though the bananas were not so strong. Not as balanced as I hoped. A cream pie finish.
