Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Strong yeasty, dusty aroma. Medium body, weak carbonation. Quite fruity and hoppy- like a light pale ale more than a pils. Not bad tasting though. Definitely has the hand-crafted feel about it, but whether that's a good thing or not probably depends on my general mood.

Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Nice pale gold, small head. Very yeasty aroma, as usual from this brewery, some spices too. Yeast overwhelms the flavour, but some nice spice and hops to balance it. Not really a pilsner but a decent ale.

298 yen bottle from Liquor Mountain, a deep golden color with a white head which dissipated fast but there are still tons of bubbles rising within the beer. The aroma is really appetizing, a mix of lightly malted grain with yeast sweetness & a clean hop smell. The flavor was surprising as it seems spicy with clove notes similar to a wheat beer. I think it isn’t much like a pilsner, more like an American wheat beer or something. Delicious though, it’s right up my alley. I like it better than both Brooklyn’s Summer Ale & Anchor’s Summer Beer. As a general beer 3.5 but as a pilsner you’ll be dissapointed maybe 2.2-2.5 out of 5.I like it but in no way is it to style.

For starters as a Pilsener this is pretty decent. It leans towards a Golden Ale without going all the way. The yeast presence gives a little support. Medium Gold with a frothy, lasting, sticky, lacy white head. Smells of yeast, butter, corn with nice peach fruitiness and some general background citrus. Again more like a Golden Ale. Thin light body with lively carbonation. Tastes of yeast like they didn’t filter it right but the glass is clear so I guess they did. Lots of fruit with a background of astringent lingering. Decent balance but overall just alright. Probably a Golden Ale with pilsner elements rather than vice-versa.

Bottle. Big yeast upfront, buttery, some corny notes, too. Thin, pale yellow. Flavor is again yeast, then some pils-like notes in mid, and goes flat in final. Thin-medium body. Not really bad, but not so good. Beers from this brewery are nearly always characterized by very strong yeast aromas and flavors.

Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Strong house yeast signature, tastes more like an ale. Fruity, spicy, not much like any pilsner I have tried. Yeast with strong hops and a good finish, but weird. Not terrible, but what is it really?
