Pours black, tiny head fades fast. Coffee and roasty aroma. Not sweet, not too bitter. Appropriately soft carbonation. somewhat light bodied. This is a nice standard stout. But I would always pay the extra $1 to get their superb imperial porter instead.

Black with a nice, thick beige head. Aroma chocolate, oatmeal and leather. The malts are dominated by the bitter finish in this - theres dark chocolate and some slight coffee.flavours throughout but the strong bitter finish leaves this stout a little unbalanced. Its a little too watery for my liking but it coats the mouth well and leaves a smooth finish.

Got a few bubbles but I think that works to advantage. Mocha flavour on the smell. Almost licorice on foundation but the hops comes through later. Lovely malt. Coffee finish. Pleasantly light on taste of alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not a bad stout, but not as dense as could be expected. Pleasant aroma with solid head and nicely hopped, but no long lasting effect on the palate.

330ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a moderate beige head, which does not last all that well, nor leave much lacing. Milk chocolate, white coffee and a touch of hazelnut make up the aroma. Mild herbal hops up front give way to a velvety body, with smooth milk chocolate and hazelnut notes. A little latte comes in at the finish, and there is a mild hazelnut aftertaste. This is not the most exciting stout out there, but it is still a pretty good effort.
