Draft at the brewpub in Seattle.
Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a half finger white head that quickly fades into a thin ring. Minimal spotty lacing.
Floral, slightly earthy aroma with lots of grassy hop notes countered by bready yeast and pale malts. Soil like with some pine needle, light fruit and biscuit.
Medium bodied with a nice balance of crisp hops, sweet fruit, bready yeast and pale malt. Hints of grass and pine followed by sweet apple, caramel malt, straw and biscuit Hop flavor is nice but becomes overpowered by the other notes. Dry finish. Pint @ Naked City. Pours out pale cloudy yellow like a Belgian. Tastes hoppy enough I suppose but I prefer a little more malt in my beers.
