Toasted malts, a little roast, some caramel and toffee as well as spicy earthy hop notes. Pours dark amber, more or less brown with a soft off white head. Flavors of toasted malts, roast, a little nutty and doughy and a nice earthy spicy hop presence. Floral, piney, and peppery. Nice bodied smoothness. Pleasant for a style - Imperial Amber - that I am not too fond of.
