Perfect for happy hour on the porch. Give it a try! I said, give it a try! How many more times so I have to say it? Just do it!

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Super flavor and a nice hops balance. Loves this amber ale. Great job Don. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 13, 2013
On tap. Clear amber color with ivory head. Nutty, toasty aromas with mild caramel, earth. medium body, average carbonation. toasted, nutty malt flavors with some lightly sweet caramel, and earthy dirt--not bad. BillKismet (4103) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Rich bronze-amber, nice head with large bubbles held together by a lacey froth. Strongly nut-accented nose, so much so that at first whiff, I would categorize this aspect as more akin to a nut brown ale. Chocolate nut touches arise, but not any hop aroma to speak of. Highly nutty body, that veers toward vegetal and overly tannic at some points. Robustly nutty with a bit of overripe walnut bitterness on the finish. A solid brew that only resembles an amber in appearance, but drinks more like a brown ale. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Sample at Hale’s in Seattle. Hazy amber color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt and grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Pint @ Naked City. Tasy bo-basty. And that’s all I have to say about that. Except that I now need to bad the the comments so that my rating will be accepted. It’s an amber. No more, no less. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Draft at ncbc. Pours a dark murky amber, almost crossing over into black. Loose tan suds. Sweet brown bread nose, malty and wet. Toasty bready mid palate, spicy toasty thick brown bread. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Long toasty bready finish. Nice malt showcase. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Darker toasted bread on the nose, a little sweetness, roast and earth. Pours darker amber bordering on more or less brown, tannish head. The flavor is toasty and roasty with nice underlying sweetness followed by earthy floral hops. Standard straightforward amber with a little more body and heft that what most are used to.
