Draft at Special Brews. Hazed brown-gold, white foam. Aroma of caramel and dark chocolate. What? Malty and chocolate. Whoppers. (and then Sarah corrected me: its milk duds!) Bad sense memory, and not a tasty flavor for beer imo.

Draft at sb. Pours a clear pale amber with a light white head. Cocoa and light hay notes on the nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Mild cocoa mid palate with well placed caramel counterpoint. Long cocoa finish.

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a very small head on it. Nose has some slight toasting to it, with a little bit of green pepper elements to it. Taste was fairly surprising to me, as I wasn’t expecting the flavor palate. I got some chocolate and coffee notes in there that overcame any residual bitterness. Better drink than a smell.

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Draft at Naked City. Hazy golden color with thin white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, bread, and chocolate. Taste is smooth chocolate and wheat and malt. Very little bitterness. Extremely smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Medium body, light carbonation. Overall: Smooth, easy drinking. The chocolate actually worked really well in this, much better than I expected it would.

Nose of earthy nutty cocoa nibs and some wheat malt and bread. Pours golden, somewhat hazy, thin head. Flavors of earthy nutty cocoa nibs on top of somewhat dry wheat malt notes. Dry nutty cocoa cocoa finish. Interesting beer. Enjoyable and light with solid flavor.
