Light cherry nose, a touch vinous, a little belgian yeast spice, dark bread crust perhaps. Somewhat sweet fruity nose. Pours darker brown, thin head, red hues. Flavors of cherry, belgian brown - estery phenolic yeast, a touch of spice, dark bread. Light tartness is there as well. Not sure this should be classified as a sour really. Probably more a fruit beer than anything. Not bad. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Draft at NCBC. Pours a rubied dark burgundy, fairly clear. Not showing a lot of carb, and no head or lace. Nice mild pie cherry nose, pleasantly understated and very approachable. Medium body, light carb. Showing some pleasant pie cherry on the mid palate with a tiny bit of darker vinegar tang but not much to get in the way. Somewhat sweet. An easy drinking and refreshing fruity sour, suitable for milder palates as well.
