On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of pine cones, a little wood, and some floral hops. Flavour brings out the same, with loads of pine and wood, with just enough caramel malt backbone to provide a lingering sweetness. Great stuff. ACHops (1584) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 16, 2014
On tap @ Naked City. Pours clear dark amber with very thin white head. Aroma is big sticky sweet malt and just a hint of floral hops. Taste is huge sweet caramel malt, and big earthy bitterness from the hops. Not a lot of flavor from the hops, maybe it’s dominated by the malt, I dunno. Boozy flavor, though doesn’t seem quite 10.8%. Ok, not great, but glad to see more triple IPAs out there. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Draft at Uber. Pours clear amber/dark red. Small head leaving behind irregular lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, fresh cat pee. Yum. Soft carbonation, slick texture, medium/full body. Nice sweetness throughout, with a nice lasting bitterness. Smells and tastes especially fresh. Quite nice. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Draft at ncbc. Pours a crystal clear medium amber with bright gold highlights. No head or lace. Huge explosive grapefruit nose with melon rind and some sweet pine elements. Creamy medium body with low carbonation. Dark caramel with huge piney resin on the mid palate. Long shampoo finish--intensely bitter. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2012
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Huge hops (Floral and Fruity) aroma this was a big IPA with a terrific taste. Good strong alcohol flavor and a bready light flavor. Nice dry finish with a goof amount of fruit. Great beer for when Pliny the Younger runs out.
