Dark caramel color, clean finish, background citrus, light alcohol flavor, rather faint aroma. Had at the brewery.
Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a moderate tan head on there. Nose has some toasting and grass elements to it with some slight caramel notes coming through. Taste is toasty with slight caramel as well. Very meh to me. luttonm (6169) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Draft at Brewpub in Greenwood. During the Seahawks’ victory. Solid American Belgian style. rich brown. Good rich malts. The flavor is there but not totally complete or complex enough. nice. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 16, 2012

Dark mahogany color, with a steady creamy head. The aroma of caramel is quite nutty, a bit woody and smokey, nice; it truly reminds of some Belgian ale. The flavor of caramel is less interesting, there is a strong presence of roasted nuts; the body is slimmer than expected; it has correct bitterness.
Draft at the brewpub in Seattle.
Pours a dark amber, almost brown color with mahogany edges and a two finger beige head that slowly settles into a lasting cap. Streaks of lace left behind.
Vinous dark fruit aroma with a subtle dark malt presence and faint boozy sweetness. Hints of raisin, plum and fig followed by smokey meat, chocolate and caramel.
Finally some sweetness!! Tried five of their beers and this is the most balanced. Vinous dark fruit countered by roasted and sweet malt notes with subtle boozy sweetness in a dry, spicy finish. Hints of grape, fig, plum and raisin followed by caramel malt, toffee and peppery spice. Well balanced and easy to drink. Faint booze flavor but the ABV is nicely balanced. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2012

On tap at Naked City. Pour is super dark red with little head. Smell is roasty and malty. Taste is very rich with a decent hop presence, a bit of caramel and coffee. Pretty good. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 17, 2011
On draft at the brewery. I’m usually not a big fan of this style, but this was a nice smooth dubbel. Very drinkable and I will definitely order again. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2011
(Draught) Pours a clear brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisins, earth, caramel, and light herbs. Flavor of raisins, burnt caramel, plum, chocolate, huskiness, and earth. A bit too sweet for my tastes. Crit (3973) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 31, 2010
