Tap at Grub. Fruity rye weirdness, nice. Initially taste is good but maybe fades a little further down. Nothing mind blowing but I just like rye beers. Tangerine in aroma, bit tropical, nice.

Amber in color, clear with a thin white head. Big piney hops aroma. The malt mixed well with the fruit and floral hops flavors. Big hops finish bitterness this was dry and tasty.

Big hop aroma. Bronze golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a pine flavour. A hint of dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.

From a growler. Fairly hazy dark amber/red colour. Small to no head and light carbonation (may just be from being in a growler). I smell hops! Has a great mouthfeel. Somewhat thick but not sweet or syrupy. It takes just a second but the hops hit pretty hard, not overly bitter...lots of malt to back this one up. There is some spice in the finish, I’m guessing from the rye. Pretty enjoyable, overall. Skål Holden! killjoy966 (677) - Washington, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Pint @ Naked City. Pretty good hop bomb from Naked/Silver City. I didn’t quite get a handle on on the extra rye "spiciness" but I was pl;eased nonetheless. Tons of hops. Tons of bitter, but with enough malt backbone to make it desirable. I’ve had a few better, but I’ve had plenty worse. AmEricanbrew (7080) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - NOV 5, 2010
Clear amber color/ off white head. Nice spicy rye bread, fresh floral, pine hop aromas. medium bodied. Good spicy, dry grainy, caramel malt flavors with floral, pine sap hoppage. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 22, 2010
Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Nice carbonation. Medium bitterness. Crisp and clean. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 7, 2010
Draft, Beveridge Place Pub. Amber orange pour, white head. Aroma is resinous with light citrus and toast. Crackery, biscuity malt flavor with citrus and a sharp, woody resinous finish. More bitter than aromatic, as DIPAs go. Pretty nice. Had this as part of a DIPA taster sampler, and found it to be my next favorite after Pliny the Elder and Wisdom Seeker.
