AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - FEB 4, 2011
Clear dark amber color/ no head. Nice straw, dry wheat, cracker malt, dry spice aromas. medium bodied with soft co2. Dry spice, dusty pale malt, grainy wheat and rye bread flavors. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Draft, Belgianfest. Coppery brown, white head. Yeasty, spicey bubblegum aroma. Biscuity, grainy malt body that dries out on the finish with a little pepper and rye, another hint of bubblegum and a very herbal feel as it finishes. Didn’t make a strong impression, but this stuff is very drinkable. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Nose is lightly spicy and fruity, hints of yeasty fruitiness, a little grainy/spicy rye malt notes as well as wheaty aromas as well. Pours golden amber, some haze, thin head. The flavor is balanced spiciness with nice fruit, peppery dryness, rye is there and provides a light pleasant spiciness. Another well done but somewhat nondescript saison.
