Draught. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head on it. Nose has some caramel in there with a bit of bread to it. Taste is slightly bitter, and has a bite to it. Slightly sweet finish. Aml42000 (622) - Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Growler fill. This pours a dark brownish red with a frothy light tan head. Sticky lacing up & down the glass. Caramel & pine aromatics are very strong on the pour. This is a big muscular beer with deep caramel & nutty malts. This also boasts a big hop bill with tons of bitterness. Full bodied & a little hot. A well made beer that starts to creep into Barleywine territory. The only noticeable flaw is the hoppy bitterness mixed with the sweeter malts leaves a slight medicinal quality in the mouth. luttonm (6657) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 19, 2014
