Roasty malty aroma. Deep copper red with sudsy white head. Roasty malt flavor spiked and balanced with a nice hop pine character. Quite good for a red.

Bold amber. Toasty malts combine with citrus and make for a tasty treat. Solid beer. djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 30, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is rye and caramel. Medium body, rye, citrus, earth, lingering bitterness, good. deyholla (12590) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber copper with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Flavor has earthy grain with a bit of resin and a grass backbone. Flavor has that same resin and grass combination with a sweet earthy grain backbone. mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 19, 2014
On tap at the Porterhouse, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is on the dryer and hoppier side, with bready malt and dry hops. Flavour is along the same lines, but with some vegetal notes in there as well. Decent balance but the vegetal quality detracts a bit.

It's good. First time at this brewery and I tried this first. I like red ales. This one tasted solid!! Go broncos, Indians, and wolverines!!

dark amber color, big backbone . Tons of hops very fun red IPA. Good stuff. Dogbrick (14332) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a hazy brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of caramel, malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, grassy hops and caramel. The finish is malty up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall. AmEricanbrew (7080) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Clear dark amber color with ivory head. Nice floral, fruity, yeasty aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Hoppy pine, floral flavors with a caramel, biscuity base brew--nicely bitter finish----good BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Lovely hazy spectral sunset color with a decent head. Nice easy, well-blended hoppiness across a well stated caramel malt backbone. Nicely balanced body between caramel malt and bitter hop, although the bitter aftertaste lingers, so this does lean more towards the hop end than is typical of a red. A sessionable Red fit for those wet autumn days.
