A: The pour is amber in color with a tall off-white head and some mild lacing.
S: Light booze on the nose with lots of floral and herbal hops, tea, a mild citrus peel aroma and some pine, too. A moderate maltiness with the herbal note coming through more and more as it warms.
T: Toffee and bready malts with a hint of tea. There’s a lot of floral and herbal notes. Lots of caramel and toffee notes with a bit of grassy hops and pine bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation.
O: A decent IPA but not all that great. Not sure I’d necessarily care to have it again. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2011
Draft at NCBC. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Nice citric notes on the nose, showing tangerines, oranges, and a bit of mango. Caramel there as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, tangerines, and oranges on the mid palate. Nice sessionable IPA. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Somewhat toasty malts on the nose followed by fruity citrus and mostly floral hops. Golden orange amber, decently lasting head. The flavor is light with toasted malts, hints of pale malt sweetness, and a nice citrus hop note that moves to floral notes in the ifnish. Crisp, refreshing, easy to drink. cubs (10636) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 3, 2011
Tap @ brewpub. Colorful, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Piney, lightly citrusy hoppy nose. Moderately bitter, piney, slightly citrusy hoppy flavor with a slightly thin body. Ok.
