Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a big earthy grass note with backing grain and bread. Flavor has a crisp grass note with a sweet grain and biscuit backing. fiulijn (21274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 16, 2012

Light amber color. The aroma is quite buttery. The body is lean, the mouthfeel quite dry; it has some light malt and caramel flavor, with an evident buttery presence; correct bitterness; the hop provides very light and hidden aromatic components.
Quite pleasant overall, but if you are put off by diacetyl, avoid this.
Pint @ Naked City. Decent blonde. Not quite as flavorful as the Black Raven lager I had earlier but was a nice way to end a hot, hot, hot day. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUN 25, 2011

Golden orange in color, clear with a thin white head. Light body and hops aroma. This is a sit around all day drink like Don’s Dad in the sun working hard. Nice malt and hops finish good balance this was a everyday light pale ale.
2010-07-01. Near headless golden orange body. Flavour is rough, cardboard like grains, light bitterness has an unpleasantly astringent character. Muted aroma, light citrus and grains. Smooth average palate. Poor. On tap at Naked City, Seattle

[3085-20100702] Tap. Not much aroma has a hint of fruit. Slightly hazy, dark brown red body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bland cardboard grains flavour has mild roast but not much else going on. Medium body is a little thin. Fair.

Really mild nose. Hints of bread and earthy hops, but this is very light nose wise. Light sweetness comes through. Golden pour, no head. Light grainy malts, bread, honey malt, and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. This reminds me more of a golden/blonde than apa. Clean finish, light and drinkable. Medium bitey carbonation. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2009
draft at naked city. pours crystal clear coppery medium amber. loose grayish head. very mild nose, pretty tough to pick up much when its still cikd from the cooler. a little bit of caramel and honey. creamy, fairly light body with understated carb. mild nuts and herbs on the mid palate, very clean and simple. light finish. easy drinking and understated...good stuff for hot days or light drinkers.
