3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty weird. I have mixed feelings on this one, though by the end I was enjoying it much better. On tap at MacGregor’s. Orange, nice retention. Strange spice dominates the nose, along with tea. Similar taste along with cocoa. Also plenty of molasses taste. Interesting and unique.

(draft @ Sticky Lips Juke Joint - Rochester, NY) Dark brown pour with a puffy tan head. Light spice aroma with a hint of cocoa powder. Mild cocoa in the flavor but the spices are rather muted.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2017 On Tap at Tap and Mallet. I had this right after a Imperial Stout, so this one seemed very thin in comparison. Still a dark enough pour with a nice tan head. Plenty of Christmas spices. Great aroma. Decent brew.
Had again at Macgregor’s. Raise rating a little.
