Draft at brewery. Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of pomegranate and a touch of wheat. Flavor follows the aroma with a bit of honey and a crisp finish.

Winter Beer Fest, Philly: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is a lot of pomegranate. Taste is much the same at the front, then it goes down to a bready mineral finish at the end. Refreshing.

on tap at Cavanaugh’s 19th & Sansom - Excellent (I’m a fan of fruit beers). Great flavor and aroma. I’ll definitely look for this one again.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/5/14

Aroma: The nose is sweet and fruity, pomegranate is dominate and the fruitiness is candy-like
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear orange color with a thin head and some light, drippy lacework
Flavor: The flavor is also sweet, but it sort of works, a hint of wheat, and no semblance of hops
Palate: The body is light and a little thin, clean enough, with a lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I liked this one more than I expected. It is very sweet and the aroma is straight up candied fruit, but it still somehow isn’t too bad. It doesn’t make sense, it isn’t my type of thing at all, but I still sort of enjoyed it...

4oz pour at the Fare. Love these guys but wasn’t loving this beer. Aroma is faint pomegranite (which is not intense to begin with) and a funky yeast. Pours light peach and clear with a small white head. Taste was fruit forward pomegranite and green cherry with a gross feet yeast finish. Nothing intense or sour, just unpleasant. Nothing appealing to me in this one.

callmemickey (4543) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Golden-orange body, a few bubbles, and not much lacing. Sweet pomegranate, wheat, and a dash of floral honey. Light bodied, a bit thin, candy-sweet, flat finish. Mouthfeel is the downfall here.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours turbid orangy with ruby edges and off-white head. Nose was hops, pom, malt. Tasted crisp, with a great pom flavor, hopcitrus, and spare malt, all balancing nicely. This is a very good fruit beer that I would gladly drink again.

Nice aroma of wheat and pomegranate. The fruit is in the back ground and not dominant. The pour is po]ale amber with a white head. The flavor is like a wheat beer with just a hint of the fruit to make it interesting.

alobar (3786) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Cloudy golden yellow color with white soapy head. Big pomegranate aroma with hint of wheat. Mostly pomegranate flavor with some grain. Bit of a bitter aftertaste. Decent beer.

22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a smaller sized head. Pomegranate, berries, and just all around too sweet for me. Fruity and sweet.
