bottle. with a careful pour you have a lightly hazed gold body and a dense, fine-bubbled white head. aroma of starchy biscuit-like Belgian pale malt with quiet aromatic hops of mango and honey dew melon, lightly floral / herbal (would not guess Citra, which is okay, because it shows uncommon restraint with such a high-acid hop). lightly sulfuric yeast turns somewhat vitamin-like with time. medium-light body with soft, natural carbonation; medium bitterness; neutral hop flavor; starchy pale malt flavor of stale toast / brioche; dry body. light and fluffy carbonation is quite pleasant, very fine in texture and providing a richness to the harder, drier malt. dusty sulfur and silt yeast character seems to lack the depth and rich expression of some of the best Taras Boulba batches. quite nice overall, though a bit rough and not as rich, fulfilling, nuanced or interesting as some of my favorite De la Senne products.
Some florals and some hay. Hazy golden pour with great head and lacing. Light tangy finish. Easy drinking. Bottle shared at tasting. Iphonephan (7287) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JAN 9, 2016
From a 35 cl bottle shared at the 2016 Nuplastik is back tasting. Pours a clear pale gold with an off white head. Light herbal nose. Flavors of mint and white pepper. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Pour is hazed amber with tons of fluffy white head that linger forever. Nose has a ton of dusty brett and hints of dry leather with a nice fruity punch of lemon juice and notes of clove. Taste is bright, a touch sweeter than the nose with less of the dusty brett, still there with the dry leather. Body is incredibly smooth, nicely carbed, lemon juice, spiced with clove, clean finish. bytemesis (9240) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 10, 2014

11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a big, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some light notes of tartness, wheat and pale malts, hints of fruits, and light bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty solid beer for the style.
