3fourths (9406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2013 Fresh bottle at the brewery in Lohndorf. Best by June 2014. Clear pale gold with slow-crawling bubbles. Rich body with lively effervescence, rich sourdough baguette pilsner malt, very clean. Grassy and lemon-tinged hops provide quenching, salivating acidity. Rich and creamy and filling natural-like carbonation. Enjoyable dryness with expressive herbal / floral hops in the finish. Well-made pilsner in good shape.

Bottle. Clear golden with a medium sized withe head with good retention and regeneration. Pleasant aroma with dry green plants, dry grass, honey and dry flowers. The flavour follows with dry grass, dry green plants, dry flowers, hay, light golden bread. Light to medium body, little sweetness medium bitter. Long dry hoppy finish. Refreshing.

Aroma; pale malt, caramel, candy, sweet grass. Look; good off white head, clear pale golden body. Taste; pale malt, grain, caramel, sweet grass, and finishes the normal way. Feel; easy but a bit fizzy. Overall; inoffensive pilsener. [bt.50cl abv4.9% xp12.12.17 [email protected] PivotekaH7] 5453'10

Flaske 500ml spandert av djoeye. Delt hos ham 28 Nov 11. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum. Spotlacing. Forsiktig maltaroma med hint av gress. Smaken mais & gress. Litt tynn og for søt.

Aroma malt, eple, humle. Utseende klar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak malt, karamell, eple, humle.

My Bottom Line:
Bread crusts dipped in herbal oils sum up this lightly flawed Pils until metal rears its ugly head.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-There is plenty of foam lacing atop the translucent pale golden.
-Bottle is super fresh, yet the flavour profile is marred by dust and metal notes.
-Everything about this brew is nice except for part of the flavour profile.
-Mouthfeel is well rounded (not crisp, but still silky and very pleasant).
-Citrusy aromas can be found too.

Bottle.

_angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 24, 2016
Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head that leaves some thick lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and floral with white bread, caramel, crackers, hay, dried flowers, honey, minerals and lemon peal. taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty, floral and metallic. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, round, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter, grassy and metallic. Nice smell but gets way too metallic in the taste.

Leighton (23693) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising during day 3 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2015. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. Pretty basic, clean pils, with notes of cereal, flight paper, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary pale bread in the finish, minimal bitterness. So so.
