UPDATED: JUL 2, 2015 Bottled February 2015. Amber-gold hazed body with a lasting white head. Aroma impression is fruity and floral with notes of kiwifruit, lime, apricot, pine, white peach, orange blossom / flowers, persimmon, sage, perfume. Moderately sweet, bubbly filling natural carbonation. Malt is lightly toasty and savory, giving a salty impression of baked baguette. Sticky and bitter and gripping finish plays perfectly with the fading sugar. Going off of memory from the night before (which isn’t as reliable as you would expect), this version seems more nuanced, less grassy, drier, and less sharp. I’ll give it a few days before doing them side-by-side.

bottle @ The Beer Trappe / Lexington KY --- Aroma of malt and hay. Cloudy golden amber, white head that slowly sinks to a heavy cover, sprays of lace. Taste is malt that moves rapidly to medium carbonation followed by stern gittering. The bitter is almost sour by the end. The "best by" date on the cap is obliterated to the point of illegibility, making me assume that has passed by fresh.

Bottle share at Leighton’s as ’De la Senne Wadesda #5’, many thanks to Matteo for this one. Vibrant hazy dark yellow, opaque, small foamy off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is papery, seaside, musty. Not very nice at all. Body is light, soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is rock pool, papery, thin floral notes. Very weird overall.

Corpo leggero, mediamente carbonata, delicata.

Bottlshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and had modest fine carbonation. Dusty dry malts. Bitter floral something. Must. Airy finish. Bleh!

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 14/04/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. Translucent bright yellow straw coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is earthy grains, faint Belgian yeast, airy. Flavour is composed light grainy, raw grain husks, tart apple. Palate is thin and grainy, tart, highish carbonation. Not very good.

33cl bottle shared at the mid-April tasting @Leighton’s. Sourced from Etre Gourmet. It pours a cloudy straw color with huge white head. Aroma is dusty cardboardy and lightly farty with some stone fruit notes. Taste is also medium sweet and farty, with some notes of skunk, toilet cleanser, farts, cardboard. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, pretty bad
