3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2014
750ml bottle from Au Baron in Gussignies. The first try, at the cafe, was muddy and yeasty and un-rateable, the fault of the servers glugging the hell out of the bottle while pouring. The second try finally gave us a good impression of the beer. Hazed amber with a fine white head. A combination of fruity esters (apple skin, banana, pear) and airy / dusty yeast in the nose. Medium body, sweet with low bitterness and medium acid. Juicy malt sugar with creamy texture from the suspended yeast. Rustic and bright, sweet and savory.

Bottle, 75cL. GUSHING!!!! Naintré, shared with my dad. A brown opaque beer with a big off-white foamy head ; good retention. Biscuit, herb, lemon, light flower, light caramel. Medium dry bitter refreshing ; light sweet. Medium body, silky texture, average good carbonation, biscuit toffee herbal finish. Overall, great !
