Pours with a nice foamy, frothy, fine, off white head that slowly subsides with lots of little bubble trails and some lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma is hop, malt, cereal. Flavor is like nose and heavy on the cereal. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor with a hint of solvent and is short to medium in length. Servicable beer and nice to see no adjuncts. espenra (1015) - Kurland, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2010
33cl bottle from the local supermarket in Harare, Zimbabwe. It poured a pale golden colour with a medium big white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. Aroma is malty with notes of grass. The flavour is grassy with notes of malts and cereal. It has a bitter, but short aftertaste. gam (3930) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 25, 2009

Tafel is the beer of choice in Windhoek. A golden lager with a malty nose. A bit sweet. Crisp and clean. Definitely a session beer. SaintMatty (7365) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2008
Bottle - Golden in colour. Lightly malty aroma. Slightly soapy taste with some malt. Rather odd and even thoguh it is slightly out of date, it shouldn’t taste this strange.

Bottle. With all due respect to Cu6a who rated this a couple before me, there certainly are lot of better beers than this. But for what it is, it’s all right. Decent clear golden appearance with a snow white head, and a mild aroma and flavour with no off-notes. Clean, refreshing - but also pretty boring. (Bottle 34 cl) Pours a clear golden with a white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body with sweet malts and brewing cereal. Very subdued bitterness. A very classical yet drinkable Pale Lager. 050508 Cu6a (14) - NAMIBIA - MAR 29, 2008
The beer of choice as our traveling companion and social events.
Putting it simply - there is no better beer. PilsnerPeter (3046) - Flushing, New York, USA - SEP 24, 2007
Can: Pours a yellowish golden with a fizzy white film for head. Sweet aroma of brewing flakes, corn mash and adjunct. The flavor has some sweet pale malt upfront, followed by a papery character. There’s surprisingly some peppery mild bitterness in the finish. Would be quaff-able on a hot African, sun-drenched day. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2007
Can from Shoprite, Port Elizabeth. Golden coloured. Notes of bread in the aroma and in the flavour. Some grass in the finish. Slightly sweet. Light to medium bodied.
