Brun i färgen med offwhite skum. Söt fruktig karaktär med russin plommon och söt malt. Håller sig maltig och söt på slutet.
Cask. Amber beer. Plummy aroma. Fruity taste (plums, not too surprisingly). Sweet. Plums. Too sweet. Rather cloying. Not for me. (2008)

Pale yellow of color with a white head. An aroma of ginger, sweets, and butter. A flavor of ginger, sweets, ginger ale and candy. An imperial radler!

July 2008: Reviewed this in a Wetherspoons pub in London, first time I’ve had a cask plum beer. Hand pulled half-pint.
Mid-amber in colour with no head, just a thin white collar around the glass.
Sweet Vitoria Plum smell, sickly in fact.
At first I really liked it, then the sickly sweetness from the aroma came into the taste and mouthfeel. It was just too over the top for me. The beer seemed to get sicklier and sicklier.
Interesting, but not a session beer that’s for sure.
