Strange lager. At the first sip, I thought "foul, disgusting." As the beer went on, I started to get a perverse enjoyment from it. It is very fizzy, grassy, straw-like; it almost tastes like a wheat beer and I would not be surprised if they dumped some wheat into the mix. I drank mine cold and straight from the bottle, as I am imagining that I am in Poland and drinking it on a streetcorner somewhere. With that bizarre set, the beer works. And I have a strange fascination with Eastern European lagers anyway, as my ancestors came from Poland and Russia.

Piana szybko znika. Dość pijalne.

Aromat słodowy, trochę biszkoptowy, podobny do Braniewa Jasne Pełne.

Aromat i smak głwnie słodowy. Goryczka niska.

500 ml can bought at Yu Bun Mei in Choi Ming Arcade, Tseung Kwan O.

Clear dull golden colour; One finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with active small carbonation; Sweet aroma of bready malt, with icing sugar, faint floral, thick bread, strong yeast, and faint lemon; Close to light sweet taste of moderate malt, with strong barley grains, light floral, sugar notes, bread, yeast, very light lemon, light bitter hops and grass; Close to light body. Thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is moderate to light malt in fairly lean body, with strong adjunct grains makes it more like a richer Pale than Premium. Sugar taste is thin and subdued, with full dull bread and very low hop to round. Okay Hoppiness is very light floral, thin lemon and thin grassy nose and taste. Bitterness is light but notably astringent for a lasting, light bitter sweet finish; Fairly dry after taste. Quite easy and light hoppy to mouth.

Comments: For a Euro Pale, this is quite well-made with fairly good malt and solid low hops. Only the grainy barley and lingering low sweetness prevent it from being a top dig macro Pale. Otherwise a very drinkable macro Pale and Poland, tick!

Good beer. Light, white head. I was drinking it cold and I find it quite good, properly bitter, refreshing lager. A lot better than "Pills" from this brewery.
