I found the overwhelming sense to be sweet. A nice enough and inoffensive brew but the lack of balance holds it back. The 7% does not dominate but is there. Wakie (612) - Centreville, Virginia, USA - JUN 30, 2003
Clear and crisp, a good Summer beer. Not so much a lager as it a heavy weizenbock. Lots of lemon throughout. Perkeo (322) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 2, 2003
Definitely in the Mocne style, this medium gold beer has a nice white head which leaves respectable lace on top of a nose of bready, earthy malt with notes of grass and hay and...playdough?, with just a slight wiff of DMS. Flavor is slightly sharp/acidic over a pleasant malty, bready flavor balance that drys a bit on the finish...pretty good but not great, I'd drink it again though. light fruity lager that is somewhere betwen a pils and a weizen.
very light for a 7% beer.

Bright yellow with a thin white head. Slight hop aroma. Easy to drink, very smooth, noting the 7% is nowhere. The malts are soft but I notice them, especially as it warms. Dry and bitter with a lemony, zesty, soapy aftertaste. redlem (1306) - Ohio, USA - FEB 11, 2003
Pours a pale lemon color with a big frothy white head. Hops aroma, looks and smells like a pilsner. Nice hops flavor that gives way to more of a yeast/bread flavor as it warms sort of like a lager. Would not of guessed 7%, not bad. austinpowers (2831) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 14, 2002
My beer looks just like the label except says Beer instead of Mocne, otherwise the abv is the same (7%). Radek’s right that there’s a peppery/herbal taste in this mocne style. The 7% abv is fairly well-hidden. A touch medicinal. Not a fave of mine. Ernest (7722) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 20, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2006 Head is mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly
malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, husky. Radek Kliber (7369) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 21, 2002
Nice fruity aroma with a bit of pepper flavour . Despite of 7 % you wont feel much of it . Nive aftertaste . Warming , great for fall and winter nights . Head was long lasting .
